  Please find attached communication received from SRSA at 13:00 today, regarding relief application for members whose sole income is derived from coaching only. Please take note that all applicants’ tax returns MUST be up to date with SARS. Please forward these documents to all equestrian coaches you know who would qualify for this relief. The cut off date for submission is the 6th of April 2020, this coming Monday, so there is not a lot of time to get your applications in. All applications to be sent to sg@saef.org.za and admin@saef.org.za We will submit all correctly completed applications to SRSA. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. New dates for Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympic Games

  Dear National Federations, As you will have seen earlier, the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee, the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Government of Japan today agreed new dates for the Games of the XXXII Olympiad in 2021. The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will run from 23 July to 8 August 2021, and the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 will take place from 24 August until 5 September 2021. We are happy to have the rescheduled dates announced so quickly and we will work closely with all National Olympic and Paralympic Committees, National Federations, Athletes, Organisers and relevant stakeholders to ensure solutions are found to minimise the impact these new dates for the Games will have on the FEI Calendar.   After contacting various parties, this is the best information we can provide when you attempt to feed your horse/s. 1. Ensure that you inform the officer that ‘Animal Care’ as stipulated in Regulation 11A, Section B Services, point 12 refers to this. (see regulation below) 2. Have a copy of this document with you at all times 3. Have your identity document as well as your driver’s license in your car 4. Keep your horse/s’ passports in the car with you 5. Travel on your own Please note that we have been informed that not all officers at roadblocks will have the same attitude towards allowing individuals to see to their animals. Also note that SAEF cannot be held responsible if you are not allowed to feed your horse/s. We have exhausted all routes to acquire the correct information, but due to the state of emergency and the short time spans, not all individuals will grasp what ‘animal care’ entails.
