Notice: SAEF

Dear SAEF Members,

Due to concerns raised by our members, and various owners of privately owned stable yards, we unfortunately have to advise our members to immediately refrain from traveling to exercise their horses during Level 4 of lockdown.

This is in response to the most prominent concern raised by our members and yard owners; the possibility of breaking COVID-19 regulations by allowing owners to travel to individual yards to exercise their horses.

The SAEF has therefore made the decision to once again contact the various government departments in order to ensure that all grey areas are cleared regarding exercising sport horses during Level 4 of lockdown.

The SAEF take the concerns raised by our members extremely seriously and continuously endeavor to act in the best interests of both our members and the welfare of our horses.

We hope to have further information by the end of the week regarding this urgent matter and apologise for the disruption this will cause in accessing your horses for the next few days.

Regards,
The SAEF Team
